More Men Warming Up to Cosmetic Procedures
With the popular consciousness hardly noticing, the amount of men going for cosmetic procedures has tripled over the last 20 years.
The demographic is growing to the point that it warrants direct marketing–you may have seen Deion Sanders vouching for Botox–and medical professionals are hoping that soon enough the stigma will be gone entirely.
A Whole Host of Non-Invasive Procedures
Just like with women, the most popular procedures are going to be the easiest and most non-invasive ones. That means Botox, mostly, and yes, some fillers, though men aren’t generally going in for lip filler.
Of course, you’d be mistaken if you thought that men were only using dermal fillers and Botox (or, sometimes, even Scrotox…).
In fact, what might be attracting men to cosmetic treatment is a whole host of procedures that are non-invasive, but give great results. Think of laser treatments, skin tightening, even fat reduction procedures.
This is going to be true for anybody. It’s just easier to go in for treatment when you know you can be back to work in just a day or two.
And the Price Is Right
While less invasive treatments will generally not have as dramatic results as surgical treatments, they’re also usually more affordable.
If you’re choosing between a traditional facelift and a ‘liquid’ facelift, it really depends on what you want.
But for most men, it’ll be a no brainer. A lot of procedures men go for involve trying to get just a bit of an edge in life, and sometimes in the board room.
That means looking just a few years younger. And if they can do that affordably and without much downtime, that’s worth more than more dramatic results with a long recovery period.
Interested in cosmetic treatment, but don’t know where to start? Don’t worry. There are plenty of great procedures for men.
