Jhene Aiko Just Got Real About Why Her Skin Always Looks So Good
A solid skincare regimen might just be one of the most guarded secrets on this Earth.
Right next to the Holy Grail, but who needs it when you have a great skincare routine?
Jhene Aiko opens up about her own routine out of her own graciousness. So what are some of her secrets?
She’s All About the Fraxel
Of course, all about means she uses it twice a year. But that’s a reasonable amount for a celebrity to use the laser treatment, especially considering it’s one of the stronger lasers out there.
She has some words to say about the treatment: that it can be a bit painful, and that micro scabs form at first. There’s some swelling.
But it’s all worth it in it.
Why does Fraxel feel the way it does? Because Fraxel has a “pixelated-type” of destruction.” It creates tiny zones of collagen, where collagen production ramps up.
So what else does Jhene Aiko do?
The Various Features of Her Routine Between Sessions
Aiko uses Alastin Skincare, and IS Clinical Serums.
Meanwhile, she also uses Cerave wash and Lancer scrub. She takes collagen pills and drinks kangen waters.
Wow! That’s quite a lot. Not to mention she also uses her birth control pill to manage acne due to ovarian cysts.
Hearing all that she uses, you can tell the authenticity of her treatment.
Unlike Tom Brady who insists that his skin is so great due to, well, drinking water, Jhene Aiko talks about all of the different products she uses.
Which of them work the best and which are better than others?
Hard to tell. Of course, Fraxel might just play the largest role. Everything else is a way of managing the face between sessions, but ultimately skin rejuvenation is going to have the largest effect.
