Botox and Injectables
Botox and injectables offer patients of all ages a safe and effective way to smooth wrinkles, restore volume, and counteract signs of aging.
They are administered beneath the skin with an ultra-fine needle and provide quick, or instant, improvement.
Whats more, Botox and injectables can be performed in an office-setting within 15-30 minutes and do not require incisions or downtime.
Continue reading to learn all about Botox and injectables, including the different types of products you may wish to consider.
Different Types of Botox and Injectables
Botox
Botox is an FDA-approved neuromodulator comprised of botulinum toxin type A. It is injected into targeted facial muscles in order to temporarily inhibit muscle contraction and relax wrinkles and lines.
In the hands of a skilled and experienced injector, Botox can naturally smooth forehead wrinkles, frown lines, crows feet, bunny lines, downturned corners of the mouth, and neck bands for a period of three-to-four months.
Dysport is another FDA-approved neurotoxin option for visible wrinkle reduction. It offers slightly greater diffusion than Botox, and results appear in two-to-three days.
Juvederm
When it comes to Botox and injectables, Juvederm consistently ranks among the top dermal fillers.
It is made of a smooth hyaluronic acid gel that is injected beneath the skin to restore volume, plump lips, smooth lines, contour cheeks, and improve facial symmetry.
We are pleased to offer our patients the entire collection of Juvederm hyaluronic acid fillers, which vary in thickness and treatment indications.
Restylane is one of the most popular dermal fillers and uses hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally-occurring sugar molecule found in skin and joints, to provide instant fullness and hydration to skin.
Restylane products are extremely versatile, and each formulation is designed to correct different concerns and areas of the face.
Radiesse is a collagen-stimulating dermal filler made of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres.
When administered to volume depleted areas, it immediately plumps skin and produces an inflammatory response that stimulates the growth of new collagen.
Sculptra
Botox and injectables also include Sculptra Aesthetic, which is formulated with poly-L-lactic acid and promotes collagen production around the injected product. Results can last up to two years.
