Leah Remini Stays Youthful Thanks to This Treatment
You’ve probably seen her on The King of Queens or more recently, Kevin Can Wait.
Leah Remini played the lead female role of Carrie on the hit show The King of Queens in the early 2000’s, and if you’ve seen her lately, you might notice that she looks pretty much as youthful as she did back then.
Heck, Remini doesn’t even look all that different from her days on Saved By the Bell (yes–we took it way back).
So while she can attribute her looks to good genes, she also has to have some other tricks up her sleeve, right?
So how does she do it?
How Do You Get That ‘Wrinkle-Free’ Look?
As is the modern vogue, users have taken to Twitter and the like to ask the stars for beauty tips.
Some, very kind and gentle, asking how she gets that ‘wrinkle-free’ look. Meanwhile, some on social media have been very blunt about their suspicions, asking her what kind of plastic surgery she got.
Her answer? It’s very nice of them to think she’s been getting surgery… but actually she’s just been ‘Botoxing the hell out of it.’
Until she needs a real facelift at least–her words, not ours.
Why Botox Can Do So Much
Botox is of course pretty much the first treatment anyone tries when they stop into the cosmetic treatment world. That and dermal filler, of course.
It might seem surprising that it can have such a dramatic effect to help people stay young, but it really can. Especially if it’s started fairly early, before really severe wrinkling starts.
And why is that?
Essentially, your face stops producing new collagen at the age of 25 or so. At age 30, your actually start losing volume, and that’s when the fissures that have always been forming might start turning into wrinkles.
Botox of course needs to be maintained every half a year or so. But, one thing that starts to happen, physicians noticed, is that Botox on a frequent basis actually teaches your muscles to relax.
So not only are you preventing fissures, you’re actually retraining your muscles.
