How Much Do Dermal Fillers Cost in Washington DC?

How much do fillers cost? That really depends on what type of filler you go for.

Though fillers all work on the same principle and typically use hyaluronic acid as an ingredient, a number of different options exist depending on a patient’s needs.

The Many Types of Dermal Fillers

One way to separate out different fillers is by what part of the face they’re meant to treat. For example, fillers that need to fill out the cheeks need to be much more volumizing than fillers made for lines around the mouth.

This can radically affect pricing. Juvederm Ultra, the original Juvederm product, costs around $500 per syringe. Juvederm Voluma, meanwhile, typically costs around $800 per syringe.

Fillers might also be separated out by brand. Two of the most well known brands for fillers, for example, are Juvederm and Restylane.

Juvederm has a reputation for being longer lasting, and having a smoother formulation. This, however, also manifests itself as a generally higher cost.

Of course, one factor that can’t be ignored is simple geographic location. Around metropolitan areas, especially in more expensive parts of the country, the cost will simply go up.

Costs of Juvederm Ultra can be as high as $1,000 per syringe, and costs of Juvederm Voluma as high as $1,500 per syringe.

The Total Cost to the Patient

Fillers typically last one to two years. During one treatment session, two syringes are often used per session.
Assuming a patient decides to use Juvederm Ultra at $500 per syringe, they may spend $1,000 per treatment session. Assuming the product lasts one and a half years, that means they’re spending $750 a year on average.

Interested in fillers but don’t know if they fit into your budget? Depending on what part of your face you want to use dermal fillers, and what kind of technology you want, costs may vary.
