In the past, patients had a limited number of options to combat loose and sagging skin on the face and neck.
Fortunately, there are now a variety of nonsurgical and minimally-invasive alternatives to a traditional facelift. Of these, Facetite is considered to be one of the safest and most effective skin tightening procedures. In fact, patients often find that it is more comfortable than Ulthera and Thermage and produces greater outcomes.

What is Facetite?
Facetite is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that tightens skin on the face and neck without surgery, cutting, scarring, or a lengthy recovery. It is especially well-suited to women and men who want to counteract signs of aging, but are not ready or willing to undergo a facelift.
How Does Facetite Work?
Facetite is performed in the comfort of your plastic surgeon’s office with a topical anesthetic, oral sedative, and tumescent anesthesia. This method of pain management ensures that the treatment area is numb throughout the procedure, but the patient remains awake and can communicate.
Next, a small incision is made in the skin to allow insertion of a probe. The probe applies radiofrequency energy to precisely heat underlying tissue, stimulate collagen production, and induce skin contraction.
At the end of the procedure, the incision site will be bandaged, and a compression garment will be fitted around the patient’s face and neck.
Facetite Treatment Areas
Facetite can address skin laxity and sagging on a number of areas, including:
- Nasolabial folds
What Kind of Downtime Can Patients Expect?
Following Facetite, it’s not unusual for skin to appear red. However, redness subsides on its own within an hour.
Swelling is also common, and typically lasts 1-10 days.
Patients will need to wear their compression garment 24/7 for 2 weeks, and then at night and during the weekend for another several weeks.
Facetite results occur gradually over the next 3-6 months.

What is FaceTite?
FaceTite provides dramatic improvement in skin laxity on the face and neck, which was previously only attainable through a surgical procedure such as a facelift. FaceTite utilizes minimally invasive radio-frequency energy to melt fat and tighten skin.
How is this better than a facelift?
By avoiding a facelift excisional procedure, patients will be scar free and will benefit from reduced post-procedural swelling and discomfort. This is a less traumatic process with a natural looking final result.
How quickly will I see results?
Results can be seen immediately, with best results noticeable after 6-12 weeks.
What areas can be treated?
Any areas on the face and neck with saggy skin can be treated. This includes the double chin, jowl line as well as other areas with deep lines and loose skin.
What kind of procedure care is required?
FaceTite is a minimally-invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia or light sedation. Post procedure, patient can go home and resume regular activities shortly after. Wearing a compression garment is required for best results.
